On hearing of the natural disaster which had struck Japan and threatened islands in the Pacific Ocean, His Holiness called everyone together for special evening prayers in the main shrine room at Vajra Vidya Institute. Several hundred monks, nuns and laypeople gathered at 7.30pm.
