༄༅། །མཚོ་སྔོན་ཡུལ་ཤུལ་ཁུལ་སྐྱེ་དགུ་མདོར་ས་ཡོམ་གྱི་འཇིགས་པ་མི་བཟད་པ་བྱུང་སྟེ། ད་བར་འདས་གྲོངས་སུ་གྱུར་པའི་མི་གྲངས་ཆིག་སྟོང་ལྷག་ཟིན་པ་དང་། གནོད་སྐྱོན་ཚབས་ཆེན་བྱུང་བའམ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་ཟིན་ཅིང་། སྐྱེ་བོ་ཁྲི་ཕྲག་བརྒལ་བ་རྨས་པ་སོགས་བཀྲ་མི་ཤིས་པའི་གནས་ཚུལ་དེ་དག་གོ་རིམ་གྱིས་ཁོ་བོའི་ཡིད་ལ་སྐྱོ་གདུང་ཚད་མེད་བྱུང་བ་དང་ཆབས་ཅིག
The large earthquake in Yushu County, Xinghai Province, has caused great loss of life and injured many people. To date the death toll has risen above 1000 and the number of those severely injured has also risen above 1000. In total, more than 10,000 people have been injured.
青海玉樹縣發生大地震，傷亡慘重，目前死亡人數已超過一千，重傷者人數也超過一千，其他傷者也多達上萬人。

གཤིན་རྗེ་ཁ་གདངས་པ་ལྟ་བུའི་འཇིགས་པ་འདིའི་ནང་གྲི་ཤིར་གྱུར་པའི་གཤིན་པོ་ཚེ་ལས་འདས་པ་རྣམས་སྐྱེ་འཆི་བར་དོའི་འཇིགས་སྐྲག་མཐའ་དག་ ལས་གྲོལཏེ་བདེ་འགྲོའི་རྟེན་དང་བདེ་ལྡན་གྱི་ཞིང་སོགས་སུ་འཕོ་བར་ འགྱུར་བའི་བསྔོ་སྨོན་དང་དགེ་རྩ་ཁོ་བོ་ནམ་འཚོའི་བར་དུ་ཉམས་ལེན་ཞུ་བ་ཡིན། དེ་བཞིན་ཤུལ་ལུས་རྣམས་སྡུག་པའིགཉེན་དང་། མཛའ་བའི་གྲོགས་དག་ཤི་བྲལ་དུ་ཕྱིན་པའི་མྱ་ངན་དང་། གནས་ལུས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྣམས་འགྱུར་བའི་གདུང་བ་བཟོད་པར་དཀའ་བ་རྣམས་མྱུར་དུ་ཡང་བར་འགྱུར་བ་དང་། མྱུར་སྐྱོབ་ཀྱི་དཔུང་གཉེན་དང་བཅས་ཏེ་ཞི་འཇམ་དང་ ལྡན་པའི་འཚོ་བ་གསར་པར་ལོངས་སུ་སྤྱོད་པ་དང་།
When I heard this tragic news, I was very saddened at the loss, and began immediately to offer prayers for those who have been affected by this incident, both those who have lost their lives and the survivors. May those who have died be freed from the bardo state of terror and suffering of such an unexpected death, and be reborn in the pure lands or a higher realm. May the survivors who have undergone the suffering of loss of relatives and friends and the trauma of losing their homes be comforted and find relief. May they receive the emergency help they need as soon as possible, and be able to rebuild their lives. I will pray ceaselessly for this.
聽聞到這些不幸的消息時，我內心萬分悲痛，立即 開始修法回向受難者：願亡者能免於驟然死亡的恐懼與痛苦，並迅速往生有緣淨土或善道；願生存者喪失親友的哀痛、慘遭劇變的創傷及失去家園的痛苦都能得到緩 解，並儘快得到所需的援助，早日重建溫暖和諧的生活。我個人將終生不斷地為此祈禱。

I request the monasteries of the different schools and devotees, near and far, to offer the following prayers: the Guru Rinpoche Prayers Barchey Lamsel, Sampa Lhundrub and Sampa Nyurdrub; the Wangdu Soldeb composed by Mipham Rinpoche; recitation of the mantras of Chenresig and Heyagriva; recitation of the saddhanas of the Medicine Buddha, Amitabha Buddha and Akshobhya Buddha; night-long recitation of The Twenty-One Praises of Tara.

དངོས་དང་བརྒྱུད་ནས་འཇིགས་པས་ཉེན་པ་རྣམས་ལ་སྨན་དང་ཟས་གོས་སོགས་མཐུན་འགྱུར་གྱི་བྱ་བ་ལག་ལེན་དུ་བསྟར་གནང་མཛད་གལ་ཆེ་ཞེས་ཞུ་རྒྱུ་དང་། ཁོ་བོ་རང་ཉིད་ནས་ཀྱང་ཨ་རིའི་ཀརྨ་པའི་ཐེབས་རྩ་ཚོགས་པ་ནས་མྱུར་སྐྱོབ་ཀྱི་མཐུན་རྐྱེན་དུ་དམིགས་ཏེ་ཨ་སྒོར་ཉིས་འབུམ་ཞལ་འདེབས་འབུལ་རྒྱུའི་བཀོད་མངགས་བྱས་ཡོད། དེ་དང་དུས་མཚུངས་འཛམ་གླིང་གི་ས་ཕྱོགས་གང་སར་བཞུགས་པའི་དད་ལྡན་པ་དང་སྐྱེ་བོ་དགེ་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ནས་ཀྱང་ས་ཡོམ་གྱི་འཇིགས་པས་ཉེན་པའི་སྐྱེ་བོ་རྣམས་ལ་བསམ་པ་ཐག་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་སྨོན་ལམ་གནང་སྟེ། སོ་སོའི་ནུས་པས་གང་ཁྱོག་གིས་འཇིགས་སྐྱོབ་ཀྱི་བྱ་བར་མཉམ་ཞུགས་དང་ལས་འགུལ་སྣ་ཚོགས་སྤེལ་བའི་འབོད་བསྐུལ་ཞུ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན།
In addition, I would ask everyone to contribute, directly or indirectly, to the relief work. I have instructed the Karmapa Foundation in America to donate $200,000 for immediate aid for the victims of this disaster and to help with the task of rebuilding. I have called on all Buddhists and compassionate people to pray sincerely for the victims of this earthquake, and to do their best, according to each one’s capacity, to become involved or sponsor different kinds of relief activity so that it will be effective.
並積極參與直接或間接的救援工作。我已經指示美國噶瑪巴基金會捐款二十萬美元，緊急援助此次災難的受害者。在此，我也呼籲世界各地的佛弟子及善心人士，真誠地為此次大地震的受難者祈禱，並在自己的能力範圍之內，盡力參與或贊助各種救災活動，讓救災活動能 夠落實。

འདུས་བྱས་ཀྱི་ཆོས་རྣམས་མི་རྟག་ཅིང་། གློ་བུར་དུ་མི་བཟད་པའི་འཇིགས་པ་མདུན་དུ་སླེབ་པའི་དུས་འདིར། རང་རེའི་ལྷན་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་དགེ་བའི་ནུས་པ་བསྐྱེད་དེ། འཇིགས་པས་ཉེན་པའི་འགྲོ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ལུས་སེམས་ལ་བདེ་བ་སྦྱིན་ ཅིང་། མི་འཇིགས་པའི་དབུགས་འབྱིན་པའི་སྙིང་སྟོབས་ཆེས་ཆེར་བསྐྱེད་པའི་རེ་འདུན་བཅས་སྨོན་པ།
Death and impermanence is an integral part of life. When this kind of disaster strikes, may the power of the natural goodness within all of us provide physical and mental comfort and the courage to start anew.
死亡無常，災難降臨時，願人心本善的力量，能給予受害者身心的安慰及重新出發的勇氣。

སྐྱིད་ན་བདེེ་བ་ཚོགས་སུ་བསྔོ། །ཕན་བདེས་ནམ་མཁའ་གང་བར་ཤོག །
When you are happy, dedicate that happiness to all beings, so that happiness may pervade the sky.
快樂時，將我的快樂回向給眾生，願幸福與快樂遍滿一切虛空！

སྡུག་ན་ཀུན་གྱི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ཁུར། །སྡུག་བསྔལ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་སྐེམ་པར་ཤོག །
When you suffer, you are bearing the suffering of all beings. May the ocean of suffering become dry completely.
痛苦時，願一切眾生的苦由我來承擔，願苦難的大海全然乾沽！
